Amy Vega’s Dedication to Community Enhancement Amy Vega has been the executive director of Vanessa Behan in Spokane since 2006. Her work in the community has earned her the 2023 YWCA Women of Achievement award for community enhancement. Amy’s story is one of resilience and dedication, shifting her career path from business to social work after experiencing academic challenges. Her passion for helping others led her to Vanessa Behan, where she has worked tirelessly to prevent child abuse and support families.
